The Freelancer's Nightmare
Every freelancer has a horror story. The client who disappeared after delivery. The contractor who stopped responding halfway through. The dispute that dragged on for months because there was no clear agreement.
The tools exist to solve this — smart contracts, milestone-based escrow, on-chain verification — but they've been too technical, too expensive, or too disconnected from where the actual work happens.
The Deal Room Approach
We built the Deal Room to be as simple as possible while still being trustless.
You define your deal in plain language: "Deliver UI mockups for three screens. Payment: $500." We generate a smart contract on Ethereum. Funds go into escrow. When you mark the milestone complete and the other party confirms, the funds release automatically.
No lawyers. No invoices. No awkward payment follow-ups.
What Makes It Different
The Deal Room lives inside the same platform where you found the collaborator, built the relationship, and did the work. Context doesn't get lost. History is preserved. Both parties can see the full picture.
We also take only 2.5% — the same cut we take on everything. No per-transaction fees, no subscription tier required to unlock escrow, no premium dispute resolution.
The Bigger Picture
The Deal Room is a small part of a bigger vision: a platform where builders can find collaborators, work together, and get paid — all without leaving. We're not there yet, but every piece we build gets us closer.
